Selling my SRT8 Magnum - what price?

Hey all,

I am about to list my 2006 Magnum SRT8 for sale. KBB says $32K. Do you have opinions on what I should list it at? Just want to get a feel for the market before listing.

Thanks for any thoughts.

Randy

And option groups...

And any mods you've done (won't get much for them, but need to know)...

I would be interested in one of the stock rims (if you put on, and are selling aftermarket rims with the vehicle).

In love with my first wife and first car ('68 Charger) ... still have the wife, but now there's the Heritage Edition and a Magnum SRT8!

Right, I suppose some details would help.

Purchased the car with option group 1. Added oem nav/6 disc, DVD, kicker speakers, Alpine 160w mono amp & JL Audio Magnum specific sub enclosure, spare donut tire. Stock wheel and everything else.

KBB says $32K.

Thanks guys,
Randy

You're probably going to find that KBB is a bit optimistic. My '06 300C SRT8 stickered for right around $46K and recently I've seen posts where people have seen new left over for $36K. That tells me I would be lucky to get much over $30K for mine with 10K miles. The problem for those of us who bought early cars was paying sticker or over. We will get hurt when it comes time to sell. I've been through this countless times, but I'm a sucker for the new latest/greatest limited production version of any car I like.

Yep... I'd say you'd be looking at $29-30k at best... and that would take a private sale probably. Dealers are going to be hard to get the trade value you would want.

I agree that the biggest killer right now are the new ones that can be had for mid 30's; I'd reconsider selling it if you can.

Thanks for everyone's input, much appreciated. Will list it for $31,500 or best offer and see what happens.
