Funny ticket story

Driving with a mild hangover this A.M. up 85 in atlanta. Im in the SRT, cruising @ the HOV lane w/ Wife & pooch in the car, A mustang GT enters the lane ahead of me going much slower, I drift out of the lane ,punch it & head back into the lane when my wife says dont you see the cop?

He was alongside when I reacted & I layed on the brakes to match his speed.

The lights came on & I pulled over, the GT guy having a good laugh.

The cop gets out & asks What was that all about?

I got my head up my A$$ I reply,
When he didnt chuckle, I knew I was in trouble,
I had 3 or 4 violations easy, if he wanted to throw the book @ me.

His next words as he was turning to back to the cruiser, was: "That was impressive."

A few minutes later he comes back to the car , Says its my lucky day & leans into the car & tell the wife that he will let me go if she rags on me all the way to work! Fat chance:-)

he walks away & my wife says :"that was impressive"

As I drive away I mumble , yes yes it is, This car IS impressive.

You were very lucky to have been pulled over by a LEO with a good sense of humor and an appreciation to know which car had the true power!
