August Car and Driver - SRT-8

A little nugget of information found in the article about the Crossfire SRT-6...."Anticipation runs high for the SRT versions of the Chrysler 300C sedan and Dodge Magnum wagon, now only months away, we are advised" This is great news to me, because I really want to hold out until the SRT-8 is available before placing my order. Hope a few months really means by the end of this year. DC is really teasing us about the SRT-8...I would be happy to know the stats on the car even if we have to wait in until Jan '05 to see one on the ground. Does anyone have a friend at DC new products group that can get us the scoop!!???

I have been told by two dealers that the SRT8 was at least 10 - 12 months away. Ron

The SRT 8 will not be available until at the earliest Spring of 2005

The next new car introduction are:

LA Auto Show - Dec 2004

Detroit Auto Show - Jan 2005

So, if intro'd at Detroit along with the Dodge Charger it may not be until April/May 2005 until it goes on sale.
