Not without converting your Nav. This company can do it www.naviplus.tv for $400, but then you still need a DVD player ($150 or less) and an audio source (FM modulate or SAT tap)

wow ... you need a dvd player? I thought there was a "dvd reader" in the unit already? Aren't the GPS map deals "DVD disc based"????

Doesn't really sound like a conversion .... or, I don't know enough about our own factory GPS/DVD navigation unit .... (which is probably true)

I did know you couldn't plop in a movie and expect to see it ... but I thought there was going to be some other "hack" to allow it to play a movie

Not yet and don't expect one. The video signal has to be converted to RGB for the DVD video to be seen (that is why you have to send your unit, unless you are an EE, have the knowledge and can do the soldering yourself, converters are available for $125). Yes the GPS rund on DVD but apparently not the same format as movies, etc. Hope this helps.

Any idea how the rear seat dvd is going to be set up? Is the screen going to be mounted in the middle between the two fronts seats?

There WILL be one available on the ’06 and it WILL delay your order. I had my dealer add this option and it will delay your car if you have one on order (i'll wait).

I bet it is the same flip down unit unit in the Durango. It has it's own DVD player and runs throught the VES and into headphones.

That would suck. The DVD in my Pacifica play though Infinity 5.1 and sounds very impressive for a car system.
