7/115 km gold & powertrain warranty

Did any one get the extended warranty? The car only comes with 3/60,000
The reason I'am asking is this is my first American car. I drive a 96 VW Passat.10/100,000 Miles powertrain and 2/24,000 bumper to bumper. The engine on the VW is great 4 Liter, but the interior is falling apart. I was told that it will cost me about $4000 for 7/115 km I ws told it because its a SRT 8, anyways I just wanted to know if anyone else got the extended warranty..

I was told the only warranty available for the SRT8 was the Viper one due to all the performance parts. Cost was $3200 and it's for 100,000 km's/5 years so I took it.

Can you let me know the exact details when you get it? That was cost (taxes in) for the one I got. If there's a 7 year available, I'll be going for the additional 2 years. Incidentally, the plan code on mine says SRT8 - Plan Code 425: $3260 + $489 tax = $3749. Once you find out, can you let me know what plan code it is?

Thanks

Hi Victor:

I had my dealer check out the differences. Your plan has a $100 deductable and does not cover free oil changes, tire rotation and a whole slew of other things. The oil change is over $100 and at every three months over three years is $3600 alone. He gave me the wrong plan number that I mentioned in the PM I sent you. Once I get the book in the mail, I'll let you know what number it is.

BTW, mine covers car rental & dinner as well in the event of needed repairs.

Also, you should make sure your dealer has or is ordering Mobile 1 0W-40 oil so it won't cause delays with your first oil change.
