Good news on SRT-8 additional colors!

I just returned back from the NY Auto Show. Today is only for the Press and Media so it's not open to the public until tomorrow. At the Chrysler section they have displayed a Silver SRT-8 on a stage heavily guarded, not able to be touched by no one, but what's so funny, not too far away, they have a Dodge Magnum SRT-8 sitting lonely on the floor with all the doors open for anyone to touch and sit in. Chrysler also holds a press conference that's open for questions and interviews at the top of every hour for today only. During the 11am conference, a gentleman asked if there's going to be any additional colors to look forward too in the near future. The General Manager for Chrysler repleid to the question with a "YES WE WILL". He continued by saying that at this time a new color has been added for our 2006 distribution. The exact words that came out of his mouth was " We call it Silver Graphite, and its avaliable to be ordered at your local dealership". He also added that they are not planning to stop their. More colors will be added as time goes on, and not to mention as the car sells, sells, & sells. To top it off, with a little smile on his face he mentioned that he would'nt mind seeing the SRT-8 in his personal favorite color. When asked, What color would that be? He replied, WHITE!!!!

I will be going back tomorrow morning so I will try to get pictures and more info for you all.

P.S. (Actually seeing the car in person literally makes your Heart skip a Beat).

Were you able to get a brochure for the SRT 8 that shows the new color?

I'm not even too sure if there's a brochure, but to be honest I did'nt even ask. It was just too much excitement for me to be actually looking at the car in person. I will be going back tomorrow when I could spend more time and get more info and hoefully recieve a brochure, if there is one avaliable.

I am going to the show next week on wednesday......already saw a black one inside and out, the magnum will be something to see.....as well...I ordered silver so it will be nice to see it.

Too bad the SRT-8 doesn't come in Vanilla White or that minty green.

lee you sure you weren't talking to grunt,he would love to see a white SRT8.I have a brochure on the srt8 that I got from the detroit auto show and it lists a Silver Steel Metallic color.I personally would like to see one in the Go Mango color.
