Ok then... This is what Kicker just replied to my e-mail asking whats up with the kicker upgrade on our SRT-8's.

Thank you for the interest in the Kicker system....Yes Kicker will be an option for SRT-8 vehicles, This information was officially released yesterday by DCX...Timing of release is up to DCX. I suspect that your wait will not be long....

i called dc today they said my srt is being built as we spoke..i then asked him could he find out if i have the boston ac..or was it the up graded kicker? he puts me on hold and then comes back to say that he cantnot tell me which i will get?he said i had to call the dealer...hmmm...like thats gonna do alot of good?..i guess ill soon enough find out when it arrives..

did you speak to tennessee or detroit customer service? I am also curious as to what status you were in over the past week or so? Thx.

be patiant my friends,you can't just screw the new audio system in and hope it works,there is months of planning and testing involved(and the logistics of it all).The plant is still ramping up 2006 production so I doubt that they will dive right in and build srt's right away.It's all about quality.

I agree, I just hope it comes with the BA7 system at least. If it comes down to waiting a month for the Kicker and it is better, then I will do that..........not even sure if I or any of us in D will even have a choice...........what would we do without all this drama.................

mine dealer said it wouldn't be built unless you cancelled the kicker system,because dcx is cancelling kickers!!!!!!!!!

hey JV..i dont know who i got ahold of but i used 1800-992-1997 and went threw all the #'s..when i called today he gave me a 04/08 ship date but ive heard that they have sat at the rail for week or so waiting on the full load so i bet i wont get mine till the end of april.but iam crossing my fingers..but i cant figure why he couldnt tell me what system iam gonna have in it?i think there stock answer is"well youll have to call your dealer and ask him"..well only time will tell..cause my dealer dont know squat..but i still love'em anyway..

Somebody is giving bad info to someone here!!! My dealer told me DCX has cancelled the kickers!! He told me today!!!! He got the memo straight from DCX!!

I called Kicker today. Most I could get out of them was that DCX would be making an announcement regarding the Kicker speaker system within the next 2 weeks????
