Ok, I'm a Stang lover too, but let's get back to reality. I've driven a couple of Vipers. Literally no comparison to a GT.

What's the HP rating on the SVT Mustang?

Not that I really care.

My local Chrysler dealer just put his first silver SRT-8 in the showroom.....WOW...what a car! Mustang? No contest.

'03 + Cobras are beasts. They respond VERY well to mods. Simple bolt-ons like a chip, filter, pulley and some sticky Nittos and you're in the mid 11s and dynoing right around 400 HP to the wheels. I won't make any other comparisons because I'm assuming you meant a straight line match-up. And stock vs. stock it's pretty much going to be the Cobra by .5 seconds or more. They can run mid 12s out of the box with a good driver.

I'm really curious to see how the SRT-8s fair once they have some good seat time. I plan to run mine but will more than likely wait until the Fall.
