It looks good but they've already worn it out in my book. I've seen that thing in every town, people chasing it, then at a car show, then at a mall , then in a magazine, then doing a burnout, then at the lake, then with the CEO eating in it...so on and so forth. I mean, put that thing out there to buy already.
I HATE to say this, but the Camaro looks better. The interior in the SRT looks okay, but it gets lost right at the glove box. The Camaro looks tight all the way in and out. Again, I hate saying that. Oh, and 425 HP is low HP right now in a new muscle car coming online.
The good news: I believe in two years this will be a car that gets all the goodies. We already know major HP upgrade and a 6 speed Viper trans is coming. Not to mention the interior will finally get the right look. So, wait two more years.

I just had a feeling some of those pics were near you, especially the burnout with the cactus. It reminded me so much of both of your calendar pics...haha.

The pictures that caught my eye had it flying through the air. Now why that may be fun and let you let out your inner Bo and Luke Duke I don't know if I would jump it especially that far off the ground.
Anyone got any thoughts about how well it would survive?

You can see it get air during the web cast that will be showing for the next 30 days. It lands HARD, but keeps going.
Hey Moose,
In your Avatar which one of those people is you? Just kidding but I would appreciate it if you could make the picture larger, much larger. Thank you.
If anyone wants true HI RES images of any of these pics, send me a PM with your e-mail address. All pics are between 3 - 7 MB each. Right click on the image(s) you'd like and note the file name(s) (Challenger006 etc).
OK, so I changed my thongs. Here's the official figures given by Chrysler this afternoon:
Performance targets for the all-new 2008 Dodge Challenger SRT8 include a 0–60 mph time in the low 5-second range, 0–100–0 mph in less than 17 seconds, a ¼-mile elapsed time of less than 14 seconds, 60–0 mph braking distance of approximately 100 feet, and a skid pad performance of 0.88 g.
Notice how conservative the elapsed time is...haha.

The Chrysler pres said in his video it does 13.3 in the quarter mile. Too bad they didn't shoot for mid to even high 12's. Anyone know how much is weighs?
EDIT: I just saw the last part of the video where they brought out the clown show. Two guys that pull stuff out of boxes to build bikes and fake fight about it.
