The smell Of Brake Dust in the Morning

Just got Home from the SRT Track Experience at Portland Raceway(3/8).

There was a big turn out around 75 people. Alot of cool SRT in the parking lot as well as on the track!!!

The weather opened up for us dried up the track pretty much after the first driving module. When I got to the Perforance Drive where you follow the Instructors on the full road course was FANTASIC!!!!!!!!! Got to drive 2 laps in each of the SRT - 300, Charger, Magnum, and the Caliber SRT4 (shifting made this litte car fun!). There was enough time for a second time in the car I own the SRT 300!!!!! I hit 125 mph in the front straightway and back straightaway.

IT WAS A BLAST!!!!!

At the end of it all you get to take a ride with one of the Instructors in a car!! I got Ron in a Red 2008 Viper!!!!! He was great. 145 on the straight aways and a big 80 drift in the big rigt hander!!!

It was even and good ride home. I followed another SRT owner half way home in a silver Charger SRT!!

That sounds awesome. I'm looking forward to attending my SRT TE this summer. Hopefully the weather will be good for it.
