I believe it's the elimination of the cool attached rear spoiler for the "incorporated" spoiler with 3rd brake light. The former models had the 3rd brake light on the rear window deck. IMO the 2008 change doesn't look nearly as good... but then you don't buy and SRT8 just for the cool spoiler!

In love with my first wife and first car ('68 Charger) ... still have the wife, but now there's the Heritage Edition and a Magnum SRT8!

Yep . What Tim said . I do not like it nearly as much with the spoiler molded in....but it is what it is .

DITTO. I prefer the 2005 - 2007 spoiler lip better.

amazingly, everyone with a pre -08 300 likes the old style...go figure
I recently got an 08 srt8 and i actually do like the old spoiler and was going to put one on, but the integrated spoiler has grown on me and i like the classier look...no longer interested in altering it

The guy down the block from me just got a black 08 300C. I've talked to him before about my srt8, and I looked at his and i don't like the way the integrated spoiler looks. Still a great car though. If you want to get one don't change your mind because of the spoiler, its still a great car.
