Coolant system

FYI,
There is a new service bulletin out #34166, for 2006 + SRT. I just had my entire coolant system flushed and the over flow reservoir replaced (under warranty). Apparently the reservoir and the anti-freeze cause a chemical reaction, that makes the anti-freezze "gel" in the reservoir

I finally have my software! Happy Diablo owner.

My Favorite "old car"... 73 Super Duty 455 Trans Am - 13.08 @109 mph when brand new! Just try and find one now! And I can almost trap 113 now!

Well known problem, but was supposedly fixed at the assembly line as of Dec., 2006 so the "old" TSB doesn't apply to SRT8 build dates after that late date in 2006. My MSRT8 was built in Oct., and I caught the development of the gunk early, so my reservoir did not need replacing. But I got the flush and additive and eventually a new Tstat housing because the gunk had etched (or worn) away the interior coating compared the the Tstate housing of our 5.7 Heritage Edition which was a year and 15k miles older at the time (about a year ago).

In love with my first wife and first car ('68 Charger) ... still have the wife, but now there's the Heritage Edition and a Magnum SRT8!
