Mesh vent covers and grill overlay for SRT8

I want to buy some mesh and paint it black to install behind all of the front openings of my 2006 CSRT8. I found these on ebay and that's the right idea however I want enough mesh for the left and right lower vents (which I know are hard to install) along with the 2 lower center openings, and finally to use as an underlay behind a new grill that I've ordered. Does anyone know what type of material to use and where I can buy it? I don't mind buying a big huge sheet of it and trimming it myself if needed but I wanted to get some feedback first from anyone who has attempted to do this along with some tips (with pics if possible) on how to securly install... Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

BTW - I'll take all of the advice and attempt to do this myself. I'll take lots of pics and post a DIY once it's completed.

I bought my mesh from Grip

I've heard of people using glue gun and epoxy to install theirs

Looks easy enough. Did you have any trouble getting the mesh to fit behind the lower left and right vents? Looks like you used glue as well - what kind did you use? Thanks.

If I were going to look for metal mesh I'd go to McMaster-Carr and do a search for perforated metal and then click on Wire Cloth, Mesh, and Perforated Sheets. There you will find 4146 different products. You can choose from 18 different styles of mesh and 12 types of materials.

I have a set of E & G double (painted black) weave for the air duct next to the foglights. I had them in my 5.7 before the upgrade.
PM if intersted.
