2008 Aussie SRT8

Hi guy's, just trying to find out, are your 2008 srt8's the "series 2's" like here in Aus? i.e. with the redesigned boot lid, all black interior (apart from the roof liner), new cup holders in consol, etc, or did you get them earlier in the states? I am trying to find out about HID high beam, Mygig voice prompt problem, and a few little "series 2" only things but as they haven't even been officially released here yet (apparently I got the first one off the boat!) noboby knows anything about them. the dealers don't even have brochures for them here yet!!

thanks in advance.

Gidday mate! Those sound like the 2008 options that have been produced for the Yanks and Canucks. Check some of the posts and you will see pictures of the interior with the new chrome-fringed cup holders, the dark interior and the integrated one piece boot spoiler. Enjoy mate!

Dante!

Hiya,

thanks for the reply. Yer, i have a series 2 srt8 and the pics are correct. the car is awesome and i am glad i waited for the series 2. my problem is now that no-one knows anything about the mygig voice prompt fault or about if the hid headlights can be made go higher when high beam is selected, etc... i am going to book it in with the DLR this week to take a look at the mygig. i have racked up 1100km's already so have to have the first service done asap, probably by my mechanic tomorrow...

anyway, hopefully someone technical or maybe someone with an 08 srt may be able to shed some light?
