maybe you got an oddball PCM that actually works. the shift lag was an extremely common problem, found on most 06 cars. the flash fixed it, but not many liked it, because you lost the paddle hold feature. auto upshift at redline, is the only thing that diablo counteracts. but it will also make your shifts much harder, by decreasing your torque management.
