My New Challenger #672

My new ride arrived at 2:30 today. Please forgive the dirt, but I live in south Florida and it rains every afternoon. I promise to get “cleaner” pics soon.

For those interested in my story I feel it is a good one. As most of you know my previous beautiful Silver Steel 300C SRT8 was annihilated by a full dump truck going 75 mph in smoke/fog while I was stopped. I waited on that car’s arrival for almost a full year and was quite heartbroken to see her destroyed like that. I spoke to my dealership about getting a replacement 300 SRT8. As we spoke I mentioned that I would really love to get my hands on a Challenger. As it turns out my dealer had copies of my smashed vehicle on his desk when his regional factory dude stopped by. My dealer showed him the pictures and told him my sad story of having to wait almost a full year for my beauty and how banged up I got from the accident. The factory dude made a few calls and guess what appeared at my dealership within a week!! The dude felt bad for me and made sure I got a Challenger!! My dealership charged me list price without any markups!
I feel extremely blessed to have this beautiful ride and it goes quite a ways at helping me heal the wounds of my accident. I wanted to share this story with everyone to let you know there are still kind and decent people in this world.
Since I’m dead tired of one handed typing this will have to suffice for now. But the car is beyond amazing and quite an eye catcher. When I’m allowed to drive I’ll post some impressions.

I knew it!

Glad to be the first response and congratulations you Magnificant Bastard!

What an ironic twist of fate that is....You waited longer than anyone else in History for your 300C SRT8 and you are one of the first to end up with a Challenger SRT8.

I couldn't hope that to happen to a nicer guy!

Congrats Danno and get some rest. Gotta get that go-pedal foot back in prime working condition.

You definitely need the BT pistol grip shifter ala classic Challengers.

It's a must!

I would NEVER put it in my 300 because it doesn't work but it would be the first mod I'd do if I had a Challenger!

It was very difficult not to come on here screaming and yelling the news. I wanted to make sure that baby was parked in my drive before I opened my mouth. It all seems so surreal for some reason. Thanks VVV!! You wanna drive her?
