Ack.. you're lucky getting THAT much back for your C... they offered me a g*d damn $8,000 less than what I paid weeks earlier... luckily I found a local buyer that paid me within $1000 what I paid.

So are they only taxing you on the difference then? In other words you won't have been taxed once per car for the full amount once everything's said and done? That's what the first dealer I dealt with maintained he had to do.

Joe, in California, and some other states, your dealer is correct on that point.

hey jo..ive been dealing with this for 6 months..ive had a few posts about my "c" being a lemon..so instead of going threw all the hassle they agreed to buy it back for purches price and i would only pay the diff..plus 6%tax on the diff.my c has close to 13000 miles on it..so they just switch all payments 6 months worth that ive made over to the srt..well thats what they said anyway..will see?

hey 8d thanks...melbourne fl here..

i just traded in my CV base model i paid msrp which was $23,975 and they gave me $20,000 for it without even looking at it. i had about 9400 miles on it. i thought i got a really good trade in value for it.
