Wheel damage from factory

Right after delivery, I saw what looked like an impact wrench snafu on the lug nut area on one wheel. Called the dealer and he said the few he has had delivered seem to suffer from wheel booboos.

So, went to the local Hubcap and Wheel store and the guy looked at the tire for about 2 minutes, shaking his head. Finally said, "Well, it will take about one week. No problem fixing the damage and polishing it, but matching the paint could be difficult." I didn't like the one week, but he finally assurred me that they can geet-er-dun. $150. Of course, my dealer (Woodhouse) is great and said they would cover the cost.

Something interesting --- the fella that unloaded the wheel from my trunk asked if this is the wheel off the 300C SRT. I told him yes and he said he hadn't even seen one yet and didn't know they were even out yet. Kind of cool he could tell by just the wheel (I know it has SRT on it, but still --).

PS: You guys getting new cars, look closely for wheel damage.

Because the dealer already went that route and the wheel came in completely wrong. Took a long time and wasn't right. Dealer recommended this course if I didn't want to wait. Assume supplies are tight for wheels.

What has me the most concerned is that the wheel may come out looking much better than the other 3. If you notice, these wheels come with a lot of minor scratch marks that are just covered over with clear. You would think the factory could do a better job, but maybe that is the nature of aluminum.
