And have a car that looks 5 years old...

who cares

That's only a concern for people who care.

Self Help tip # 27: don't worry what other people think.

I drive what I want. Not what I need to be seen in.

true, its good not to be materialistic - but, in the nature of my profession, We care how we are viewed. Suits, ties and cars like these.

SRT_Hundy is right, best bang for buck. Buy SRT8 for 25-28K, add twin screw supercharger for 7k installed. You have yourself one bad as$ ride for half the price of new CTSv. Dont get me wrong, CTSv is a very nice machine of performance, but overall save your money & get a superchargered SRT & buy a used Vette or Jeep SRT8 or anything for 35k for that matter.

Hey T_towner, If you are still looking to buy SRT8, my buddy is selling his 07 Black fully loaded, Magnaflow full cat back exhaust & Mopar CAI, Great shape 18k miles. Here in Salt Lake City, where we get alot of snow fall 4-5 months of the year, its not practical. He wants to get Jeep SRT, and I am toying with the idea my self, Just love my 300c SRT8 to much, but dont get to drive it too much during winther with all the snow. So if any Jeep SRT8 guys are looking to Sell or Trade, Let me know.

My problem with the CTS-V is its too small. I can fit in an Accord 09 better than the CTS/V.

Its also designed to be attractive to women. The 300 has very masculine style but the CTS is too "sexy".

If I got a CTS-V, it would be the Coupe and I'd definitely put lambo doors on it. I would NEVER put Lambo doors on a 300c.

The new CTS-V is meant to be a 70K alternative to a 110-120K BMW or Mercedes, not really competing with a used SRT-8. It has 556 HP stock and is faster than a M5 or E63 AMG. It currently holds the stock 4 door sedan lap record at the Nurburgring. I love my SRT-8 and it does offer a lot of value, but I test drove the new CTS-V and it is a different level of car, as it should be for the money.
