2006 3SRT8 Production Rates

Thanks for the update ResumeSpeed.

Hopefully production levels will continue at this rate after the 2 week shutdown.

Any guesses on what the overall 2006 production numbers will look like?

Full production on other SRT8s may reduce the prod. rate of 3SRT8s ---hopefully not.

Call me cynical - just don't do it to my face -

But there is a lot more profit in shipping a car a few miles to Ontario dealers and charging the standard non-negociable Canadian$1200 delivery charge, than to California, Florida, British Columbia.

I'm interested in where they are today. I helped a member get one of the two '05's in Indiana and it went out-of-state.

glad to be here

I am have been reading this and decided to pipe in. I didn't want to say anything until I had acquired an srt8 and found common ground with many of you.

I am 34 years old and have been looking at cars since I have been 5 years old. I have read car magazines since I can remember and even went into the automotive industry for 6 years selling cars. I owned a viper pretty much the year it came out (94'), even though there was a short run of them in 93'. I accomplished that on one of my high points in my life and fell down soon after that to & have been building myself back up ever since.

The happiest days of my life back then was the day I got that car and how proud I was to drive it. I now feel the same way about the SRT8 and how proud I am to have one. Money because of the real estate market in SW FL is now no object. I make more in one transaction then most people make in a year, the reason I bring this up is money is no object. I could of chosen nearly any car to drive and I have a great knowledge of many of them.

The SRT8 has all the power of that viper with incredible refinement. It's comfort and relative pace of driving is second to none. It stops like a toronto hooker with a ferrari in front of her. Speeds like my father with a genny cream ale pounder (green case) going to the microwave in buffalo in the winter and turns heads like a 19 year old w/ bikini and stuck on the side of the road.

I added a 15.3" LCD tv w/DVD Player & instead of the factory ent. for about the same price from sound advice.

I could spend all night posting about how happy I am to have one (silver) but I'll end it with this:

If I had a choice to be buried next to anything, I would safely say I am going to need 7 plots and only one of them is for me.
