Is a SC an option? I thought with the high compression of the SRT-8 to begin with, that a SC option likely wasn't in the cards (which is why a 'small' part of me is considering a 300C with the SC on it)?

Yes, I heard the tranny is near max torque already....these are my minor two:

1. K&N Filter
2. Jet Chip

They won't bring 450hp to the wheels, but should give it a bit more "oomph.." Any other ideas?

I'm wanting to hear some numbers from the Mopar CAI. I'm thinking of going for one of those.

I was thinking maybe a low boost application with alcohol injection,
I like the idea of gears, maybe 3.42's? Who wants to be the guinea pig !

Are you serious, we are talking about performace mods?

I was thinking it would be fun just to drive mine if and when that ever happens.

Ah well, you know the old story....the grass is always greener.....just how much more power is enough?.....I think the 8 was made so guys like me wouldn't have to do any mods.....but there will always be those who want more.....Hope you get your 8 soon!!

I hear ya. I got an idea, Come over to my house, we'll go out for a cruise, do some 100ft burnouts, hit some high speed corners, cruise effortlessly at 150mph, smoke some mustangs, grab something to eat, then after you digested our day, You can help me do some mods.
