Just Got My Srt8 However....

it's not silver steel its black and wow does it look nice... let me start off by saying THANK YOU PA-SRT8 your post from 2 srt8 arived is the reason i have my car. i drove 88 miles to phili PA to pick it up. paid 2,000 over msrp and Giovanni the sales person @ GARY BARBERA'S and that whole entire dealer made it the greatest car buying experience ever. the whole dealer congragulated me and lined up to shake hands after purchase. has every option except kicker.

although i really didnt get to test it that much because i drove home in the rain an srt-4 neon did ask to give it ago. i declined and said see you when i have 500 miles on her.

Comments this car is amazing
this site is awesome thanks everyone for input about their cars and answering any questions i had asked.

by the way to those who have the car for a few hundred miles does it feel much different after break in period? thanks again

enjoy your SRT and drive carefully

IMO, it doesn't feel any different after the initial breakin period. However, I can feel the car getting stronger now that I have a few thousand miles on her. As has been mentioned many times on this forum, it will be noticeably stronger around the 6000 mile mark, once the rings have seated properly. Not many of us have 6000 on her yet, so can't verify it.

Congrats! Now the fun begins!!

msrp....

the sales men were great however with all the offers they were getting over the phone they realized the car was hot and it really wasnt up to the man i was dealing with i didnt mind at all i dont have money to throw away but the car is going for way more elsewhere and they did not push the issue of going any higher then what they orginally asked for.

thanks for replies.

question for need for speed if your reading how many miles were on your car when you ran at the track?

and most of you guys how many miles until you pinned your throttle ?

I had my oil changed @ 500 miles and went hog wild after that (pinned the throttle).
