Victory Shall Be Mine!

In recognition that my SRT-8 (silver, all options but DVD and Kicker-free) has been built and is on a train on its way to Massachusetts, I've cautiously added a new avatar. I'm still worried about all the things that can go wrong, like the train plunging into a gorge, the car catching on fire while on the car carrier, or the dealer's kid spotting it in PDI and saying, "Dad, I just gotta have that car". But hopefully, in about a week, I'll be able to change the title to "Victory is Mine!"

Rick, that's great news! Bet you can't wait. Congrats.

BTW, are the Healeys racing next week at the Glen? If so are you going to be there - spectator / racer?

NR,

The Healeys will be at the Glen next week: www.auhc.net. Should be a great show as the GT-40s, Cobras, and Shelbys are running an event also. I had planned to go, even had a room reserved at the Seneca Lodge, but couldn't get time off from work. Just as well, as I promised my wife I'd give up some of my automotive extracurricular activities to buy the SRT-8 Besides, I would have gone crazy if I got the call from the dealer telling me the SRT came in while I was at the Glen.

I sincerely thank god every day that I live in Detroit. Just a quick trailer ride over the border. YEAH!

I know, but compared to having to be shipped on multiple rail-lines, sitting in a rail-yard, etc....i'm lucky. Probably one trailer ride over.
