Im about to pull the trigger but,...

Ok guys, ive had my c for over a year now, and shes been stock minus the Mopar CAI, since ive had her...I was in the running for a Challenger, had a build number and vin and all, but with the auto industry taking a poop, i pulled out and decided to hang onto the C, (im still getting a chally)...

Now with that being said...Im just bored of the performance as of late...Yeah the car moves, but i need more...Im not looking to go 10's here...i just want a little more ooomph, if you know what im saying...Now Im not putting any kind of exhuast on here (yet) and I already have a CAI...I seen Maryland speed has a combo for the predator and a BT catch can...Two things ive wanted from the day i bought the car...I was gonna just buy it, but wanted to hop on the forums and catch some input from you guys before i do...Is it really worth the money??? Meaning the Predator. Ill prob get the 180 stat too...The catch can speaks for itself, and when i saw the package i was like sweeet...

So Please someone convince me to push BUY NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

go

The stat and the predator go together perfectly, because you use the Pred to reprogram the fans to take advantage of the stat!

The catch can is an optional part of the package, but many here swear by them. I run my car very hard almost every week in near race track conditions and I have never missed it.

Combined with your CAI you are looking at a few more ponies but a HUGE fun factor increase with the Predator. It completely changes your car!

Ha.You make it tough. While the predator is a great easy mod, performance gains will be somewhat minimal(I still would highly recommend it). Just firming up the shifts make it worthwhile. Every car will react a little different to a tune,so a hard number would be very difficult. I did a catback-CAI-and predator. And while I felt a difference, I felt I needed more still. I went to HHP and dropped in a stage 1 cam, High flows,Shorties, and a CMR. I really felt the difference. II guess it really come s down to how much more you want, and what you want to spend. Given the choice to do it over,I surely would(except I'd add heads at the same time)

Nice, yeah, I mean ive been around the LX platform since they first came out....and i remember counting the days when i had my charger till the Pred came out, but i never ended up getting one b/c i got a SRT instead, but ive heard nothing but rave reviews about it...and when i saw that combo, i was like nice...Its almost a no brainier, b/c come tax return time, im thinking either S/C or turbo...and it would be nice to already have a tuner and some other mods to go with it...

what other vendors offer the predator??? and do any others offer combo packs, IE. CAI/pred. etc.

I also wanted to ask about the exhaust on these cars...IMHO i believe just a set of shorties would do wonders for this car? Right? I mean the stock cat back should flow pretty good for stock...My ultimate goal would be Forced induction, with the predator, and maybe some shorties, i dont really want to change the exhaust on this car...IMHO loud exhasut just doesnt fit on a 300...Chally and charger yeah, but not the 300 its too classy to me to be insanely loud, I had the LM1 on my charger and i woke the dead everywhere i went.

well thats the thing, i dont want to go balls to the wall just yet...I got plans for this HEMI, but they arent for a ways away right now...but for now i just wanted to go mild, you know, start off with minor mods, then go all out...Ive waited over a year to do anything to this car...and for me, over a year is like torture, since ive been modding cars since i was 15...But im just bored of the laggy shifts, the temps around 215 taking away some performance, I said to myself when i first got the car, just drive it, no need for mods, this thing is fast enough...but not anymore, my buddy just started to mod his WRX and hes already passing me and I cant have that...

Then I stick to the predator for now. The stock shorties on the SRT from all the intell are very good. change to another set might be money more wisely used elsewhere.

I'm in jersey. Southern -Cherry Hill office-Franklinville home( and a second on the Mullica River-where I should be living full time!) The only thing I sell are the illuminated rear wings. For a predator go to our vendor section. I got mine from TByrne with a 180 stat for $ 375. It was complete with the serial to usb cable and 110 to 12 power supply. That price seems to be the going rate, but you don't always get the cables so make sure they are included as I believe the serial/usb is about $40 seperately

I've also been painting for 20 something years(yikes) and may add that.

Nice, good look, and as in painting, you mean automotive painting, or Home, interior/exterior painting?
