vibration problem

I've had my 300c srt for about 6 months now. a few weeks ago I noticed that I was getting a lot of vibration coming through the steering wheel and even through the floor at highway speeds. I figure the wheels just needed balancing so I had them balanced and rotated a few days ago. I'm still feeling quite a lot of vibration through the steering wheel at highway speeds. What other issues could cause this type of vibration and feeling beside tires that are out of balance? thanks for any help!

you may be experiencing the "80mph shake".
unofficially, its the tires.
when i got my new NITTO tires, it stopped.

it's annoying, but i dont think its a TSB, nor will it ever be.
you are going about 80 when it happens, right?

to add: it happened with me and most others between 77 and 85mph. after that speed, it seemed to stop.

I would get them rebalanced. There have been times I had to take in more than once to get them done properly.. Good luck.

Yeah very well could be just uneven tire wear. Not from left to right like a result of camber or whatever, but where the radius of the tire kinda dips in and out in some sections of the tread. Something I don't think balancing could fix since it can happen in several different areas.
