Frankentake

Hey everyone i was just on billet tech's website and i seen they offer a frankentake.

Just curious does this sucker make power? or is it a look at me peice? anyone have one? pics?

I think it was break even on power in the Modification Face-Offs. The thing about it is that it is a DIY type of thing for a lot less $$ than brand-name CAIs and originally envisioned and worked up by Matt Robertson. There are numerous threads here and at LXF about it. Now BT has made it a commercial offering (so... less DIY). It would be a good intake, but like the majority they are for the great sound they make more than any signficant gains in HP recoupe.

yeah i thought so tim i guess ill get the AFE stage 2 or the hennessy performance one

I went with the AFE II CAI and am loving it. I did a lot of research on the CAIs for the 5.7s before I bought mine and love the added power and sound after doing the predator tune. The AFE really awakens the hemi when you step on it without the annoying suction sound! The deep bass overpowers that higher pitched suction sound.
