Rambit Headline News Flash - Silver Steel

RHN - London, ON 6 Aug 05

Reliable sources who cannot be named at this time have just informed Rambit Headline News, the reason why Silver Steel is on restriction for the SRT8. This information was gathered covertly, under cover of darkness, shrouded in secretiveness and obtained through bribery by means of pizza at a midnight rendevous that also cannot be revealed.

It seems the fascia does not match the paint. No word when this problem will be rectified as yet.

Remember, you heard it first on Rambit Headline News. Pictures at 11.

Actually, since the cat has been let out of the bag, it's the other way around, the paint does not match the fascia...

How can paint not match a part? I mean, are what y'all are trying to say is that the paint when painted on metal looks different than when painted on plastic?

Yes. It has been an issue for all the auto makers since the mass conversion to plastic front and rear bumpers. On every vehicle I have owned with this, I have been able to find a slight change in the tint between the metal and plastic.....I have to say the black on the Magnum is very close. I understand the darker the color, the easier this issue is.

Then why was I just given a build date of Aug 22 this past Thursday for my Silver Steel SRT8. Why would they still be giving out build dates when they can not even build them? Is this some kind of sick game they play with the consumer to string them along? I would rather not have a date than a date that will keep getting pushed back.
