What if

You were 1 day into your vacation , ...with your family in your SRT8.
You are not in your own country...100 miles from any kind of major city..
You blow a tire 600 miles from home 100 miles from the nearest dealer..
You have no spare tire , the kit cannot salvage a blow out..
You come to find out there a no tires like the 20" F1 avail for 1 week...
Hypothetically speaking of course.....

What would you do???

Walter

The tire issue is one that I have not given a lot of thought to, but if I could also ask a more general question: what is the availability of the performance tires and in the event of a blowout should I get my car towed to Chrysler or my tire store? By the way, for those that answered my air intake question, thanks! Man, I love this car (black SRT-8)!

DOYLE Dealerships usually do not stock the F1 20" because how often are they going to sell it.

Use your u-connect and you will be connected to DC, give them your VIN and wait for the truck to tow you to the nearest dealer. It works in both our countries.

I still can't figure out why on earth they would not put at least the donut in the SRT. I will stick with my regular C thanks!!!!!

Is there enoght room to take out the "Repair Kit" and put in a spare in the trunk? I cant justify not having a spare. The repair kit is garbage if you get a big hole.

Better still, hunt down the guy that sold it to you and beat the crap out of him. Then take his car...

I understand that the hole left over after you remove the tire pump is still not large enough to hold a donut.

Wonder what sort of lawsuit that could be started if a person was caught out in the middle of nowhere and no cell towers in the area? hmmmmmm...........

Personally I would order an F1 and have it at the house anyway. You will eventually need it and if you have an emergency at least you know where one is.
