Have a hiccup between 1st & 2nd!

Have mentioned this on some other posts since I got the car last week and was wondering if any of you SRT8 owners are experiencing any "flat spots" between 1st & 2nd @ WOT using the Auto-Stick?

My car has gone as far as almost shutting down between gears a couple of times and I can't figure out if it's a computer thing when it hits 6200 RPM or what. Got it on with a Z-28 today and it did it. Luckily the 6.1 "burped" and came back to life as the Z-28 caught me and was passing me. Once it started running like it should, I had the Z-28 in my mirror real quickly.

Has anyone else had this problem? Should I just be leaving it in Drive? That's hard to do with the new Zoomers.

Yeah there is a technical service bulletin on that problem but other guys are reporting that the trans control module is not taking the flash and that the tcm is on back order!
