Talking Found 7 SRT-8's

All,
I am doing my search within a 200 mile radius of Northern, VA....

I found 7 SRT-8's during my search tonight...

3 @ Greenbrier Chrysler in Chesapeake, VA
1 @ Monroeville Chrysler
1 @ Fair Oaks Chrysler in Fairfax, VA
1 @ Urse Dodge Chrysler in Fairmount, WV
1 @ Starr Motors in Suffolk, VA

Here is my problem...I want a fully loaded CSRT-8 Brilliant Silver with option group I & II, rear DVD and Kicker...

Cant find it... Any help???

Zephion,

I feel your pain - I was looking for almost exactly the same car 2 months ago. For some reason the DC/MD/VA/NC area dealers at that time

- NEVER had any with DVD - probably was too early for this but if this is your only holdout it can be added later easily from what I've read

- RARELY had any with Kicker

- RARELY had option group 1

- USUALLY had option group 2

- USUALLY had AS tires - the only 'option' I would pass on, IMHO.

Keep looking, maybe expand your search radius. Also, try calling every Chrysler dealer and asking if they have unspoken-for allocation.

I heard the rear DVD will remain difficult to get on non-Charger vehicles. I guess DCX needs to get the supplier ramped up for more units and until then, the Charger was initially advertised with the system available and they are going to slate the units for them first. Maybe Resume Speed knows for sure.

The rear DVD is nice but the kicker is weak if you like to jam tunes. If you really want the kicker add it on for 280.00

What search engine do you use to search an area? Or is it a mopar site. I tried to get info in my area but came up with lousy results. What key words did you use?

Try going to autotrader.com - search for Chrysler 300's and set price to be 46,000 to 99,000 - that should weed out dealers w/o any SRT-8's. Dealers with multiple 300's listed will only have one entry, so you will have to drill down some, but they are there.

Also, you can searched new vs. used. Interesting to note how many used ones for sale, and how proud of them they are...

everyone...

but the kicker is weak if you like to jam tunes
this coming from someone who still hasn't listened to my Kicker system...
heck, binary boy (Jketron) doesn't even listen to music...
only the roar of the engine, the sound of the supercharger and the squeal of the tires...

As for the Kicker, put them side by side the Boston - no comparison other than the car they both reside in...
The Kicker absolutely rocks and is very strong...
I know someone here though that went the aftermarket route and his system is top notch from what I have heard...
Igotasrt8 - your ears burning???

Are you telling me that I can add the kicker in my 300C from the dealer for about $280.
