I am in for a 6.1 litre monster but any of us who claim this should refrain from posting any complaints about "fuel economy", kind of like H2 owners complaining about 7-9mpg.

I agree. I can't wait for the SRT-8 to hit the streets. I want to be the first guy in Austin to have one, however you can't think about buying a car like this one if you are concerned about gas mileage. Beside, there are other ways to do your part to protect the environment....just can't think on anything at the moment.

I am an environmentalist, member of PETA (People Eating Tasty Animals) and we all should do what we can to protect the environment, frankly I would like to be able to eat a seal without getting sick.

I agree, but I haven't heard anyone who owns a Hemi complain about the mileage or the price of fuel! The average price for premium here atm is 1.99. When I recieved my 300C average was 2.50. If it was 3.00 I would still order a SRT version. It's worth that just to watch my 300C whip caddy's!

Here's the lowdown on the STS-V:

Pretty awesome, albeit extra coin.

A lot of extra coin, an incredible machine that finally out runs and out handles the big boys from Deutchland. A nicely equopped SRT8 will run 45 large, that STS V will be 65K+, compound that difference in a retirement plan for 20 yrs. I'll take the SRT, love the caddy as well but it will depreciate faster than a 750il (the SRT won't fare much better)
