CanYou Change a "D" Status Order?

I want to change an order, just the tires. I've decided to go for the 3 Season F1's.

Dealer says it's too late.

Is he right or wrong?

I think that D status is pretty late in the game for a change. I would try a call directly to Brampton, see what they say.

Ahhh...No Big Deal if I can't.

I'll just buy a set of F1's and swap 'em out; keep the 4 seasons as back up.

PS I'm Happy the Car has my NAME & a VIN on it...FINALLY!

I wouldnt change/touch anything even if it was possible, in fear of getting delayed.

you can change orders in D status but once it hits D1 you can't.

Yes, Another set of tires, especially all season ones will come in handy, especially if you do not have the $1600 when it comes time to change the eagles out.

I think the All Seasons do a great job and are an all-around good tire. If you have a second car for bad weather driving and will only drive your car when it is nice out, then I guess the f1's might be the way to go. For me the all-seasons make even more sense because you can rotate them because they are all the same size.

Don't let your dealer tell you No to changing, it can be done and very easily. Worst case, pm me and I can get in touch with someone at brampton for ya.
