Any news on Silver Steel???

Has anyone heard if the Silver Steel issues have been resolved?

I'd be willing to paint my rear spoiler Hot Rod black,.... or Hot Pink for that matter!

I just called the DCX 1-800 # this morning. They are still telling me a ship date of Aug 23 for my Silver Steel? This is only 10 days away . So will they change the ship date the morning of the 23rd? Do you think they have the solution and they know it will be fixed within the next 10 days?

What is your status? forget the ship date if its not in KZL there is no way the car will make it to FL in 10 days anyway.

Maybe its just Canadian Silver Steels or maybe I am being lied to for they can get out all the U.S. Silver Steels.

If your in Florida, and gave you a ship date of 8/23, it better already be built and ready to go right now.

503 motoring...

you are in the SRT-8 section...
thus the hold-up for SRT-8 Silver Steel's is:
a rear deck lid spoiler that is painted by an outside manufacturer that is NOT matching the body paint on the "300C SRT-8's"...
and thus is causing this problem...
as your sig indicates you have a "300C"...
your car does not have the rear deck lid spoiler...
so that is why you have your car, and everyone here with a "300C SRT-8" does not...
Enjoy your car!

They did not tell me the status. Just told me the ship date of Aug 23. They said the car should be in Florida around Sept 10th? I wish someone had some honest answers about the silver steel.

BONEFISH call your dealer and ask them to look up the status code in dealerconnect takes all of 5 seconds. Then post it on here.
