im kind of in the same boat but what is the cmr tune sorry im new to these awesome cars
(chip master revolution)
It is a remap of your ecm and pcm. A cmr tuner will put your car on a dyno and run it tweeking every thing until they get the best tune (hp and torque) for your car. Its worth it for running mild to extreme mods as heads cam superchargers and so on. It can be done to any car at any step but I think its only worth it if you open up the motor. Others have had luck in seeing a big gain with just a few simple bolt ons.

Onesickhotrod has one... Usually good for about 8-10rwhp so not a bad gain really... Just a bugger to fit!
As for a getrag rear diff... Confused on the louder idle bit as at idle your stopped so no gear noise... Rolling if there is fear noise its broken so none there either. As for more rpms... Well yes it will raise it minimally with the 3.06 getrag from an SRT as the ratio is changed, but its a nice mod to give a bit more bite to a C.

Up to 9 Rear Wheel Horsepower Increase
Up to 10 ft-lbs. Rear Wheel Torque Increase
Extra-tall belt-retention walls-no more thrown belts!
100% steel construction
Lighter than the stock balancer
Integral timing marks and puller-mounting threads
Does not cause false knock retard or erratic power-curve dips
What are you waiting for lol?!!? It's a great add on that no one knows is there...
Just remember that you will need a different belt when you change the pulley.
Got a question about Getrag LSD... I heard it will be louder idle? or rev higher while driving?
If you change the rear end gear then yes it will change your rpms's. SRT auto's are 3.06 stock. I'm keeping it 3.06.
Note on the pulley. The power numbers on a 6.1L engine are less. The 5.7L gains the biggest. Since the 6.1L already has a smaller pulley then the 5.7L, it will not gain as much power. So you have to consider is the cost of the pulley & install worth 5HP on a srt8?

Why do you have to crush my dreams like that... lol
Sorry. A pulley was going to be a major mod for me because of great experiences on other cars, then I researched it more. May still get it, but other things are 1st.
