Your vanity plate has truly come to life (not that it was any slouch before) simply amazing! You’re in for some very serious good times. Keep feeding the masses with your pics and vids as you get them…….they’re appreciated.

How efficient is the piggy back system? besides the money the tunning is the major reason holding me back on F/I this car. What exactly does the piggy back system do. My buddy has a LS powered car and they have LSedit, which allows them to play god with their motors. Is the piggy back system that good ?

Was it you who removed those 8 inch wide strips of asphalt with your tires, right in front of the garage? I had to be careful so I wouldn't bottom out when I pulled in last Saturday. Nice ride and nice pics, hope you're enjoying the S/C. Did you see the same thing I did in their lot, that made you happy you were a GSM customer?

The piggy back is for fuel management..... You can play god with your A/F mixtures all you want with this system, but I don't recommend that you lean the 6.1's any further than 11.8 or Richen them lower than 11.0.

The software allows you to build fuel maps for the 2 extra injectors and a timing map as well that is based on rpm and boost (2D map). The stock ECU's fuel map is untouched.

It also modifies the MAP sensor voltage. To adjust timing, I think it adjusts the crankshaft position sensor signal. And maybe one other signal too.

As for how good it is, I'd say not very. Two people have had theirs die and the software is a pain to use. They pot the guts of it to keep the water out (good) but they don't pot the back side of the boards (bad). It didn't look like it was conformal coated either. Hard to tell though.

Splitsec makes it. It's called a FTC1 though it might be a customized one.

I found that the software is rather easy to use. I am not a computer expert my any means either.
