OK. Quick update.

My module was shipped on the 18th as promissed. It was delivered on the 22nd. The only problem is it was shipped to my old house. My previous purchases were sent to that address. When I purchased this module online, I changed my shipping address to my current new address.

When we flew in from Portland last night, our daughter-in-law dropped Cindy and I at our old house, (currently listed with DanRealtor) to pick up our van from the garage. Wel, low and behold, there was a package hanging on the front door. I even had thought maybe it had just got there. I checked the tracking number, which varifled the dates.

I called Scott and he said he thought that when they shipped it, they called up my name in their UPS system and got the label for my old address. No harm, no foul.

I even ordered one of their CAI's on the group buy, chrome. Want to compare it too my Mopar and the new Airaid. If form follows function, I'm sure the GSM CAI will perform the best.

Thanks Scott

So how did this mod turn out? I see they are still selling it.

Shifts are firmer and quicker, especially in autostick. Shifts right at 6200 in drive, in AS it seems to be little more At the track, it is in drive.

Thanks Hal, any difference in drivability around town. I'm really looking for some way to keep from being in 5th gear at 35 MPH...

A little more responsive, a little for fun, and it doesn't keep me from being in 4th at 35, I just downshift.

Gsm Tcm

To be honest, I wasn't overly excited about buying a TCM. Yes, I like GSM and I have a lot of respect for Scott who has spent the last few years working to give us mods to go faster (& quicker) and look good doing it (thanks Scott). But my TCM in my '06 300C SRT-8 never gave me any problems, and my car runs & shifts fine.

A small leap of faith. I asked Scott, with what I have, what should I get next? He suggested the TCM. WTF?

I am SO glad I did. The GSM TCM makes my car even more of a beast. The shifts are as firm and as quick as I like. The part is stealth. No one can see it, nor would they ever guess it wasn't factory.

Last week I lent my car out to my buddy Eddie (WagonDoc). I had to suffer through driving his wifes Jeep GCSRT-8, while Eddie drove mine

When he gave me the car back he only asked about one thing. Yep, the TCM.

His 06 Magnum SRT-8 shifts fine too, just not as fine as mine.

If you are a performance junkie like me, I HIGHLY recommend the GSM TCM.

If you want to drive mine just ask. You'll be hooked! Eddie is.

I just wish there was a way to use the Mercedes module from the E55. The select-a-ride works great in them!

Sure sounds like it would be awesome, but you can't trust ANY of the dealers down here. I think they'd roll on you immediately, just for asking about the part.
