Go with the exhaust that you like the sound of most, and be careful of the constuction. I had the JBA on originally (obnoxiously loud inside the car), and found out it had baffled mufflers. My car club did a flow test years ago showing that baffled designs (Flowmaster, at the time) actually flowed less than the stock exhausts. My point here is that louder mufflers do not necessarily flow any better.
Very important point. Noise does not equal performance. Sound is so personal that everyone needs to audition as many systems as possible. Go to a local M&G and see what everyone else is doing BEFORE you buy.

I am a Zoomers faithfull.. I had zoomers on my 300C.. and will be getting them on my SRT.. I like their sound and look. at WOT or even 1/2 throttle. you can hear them quite nicely even at the end of the block.. but in the car not overpowering at all..

That is a perfect solution that I’ve told many myself. The exhaust “note” is extremely subjective and not everyone hears the same….duh! So the best way is to take a sampling of the various sounds. Live and in person at M & G’s.

I don't think any engineering efforts went into the Zoomers or they would have stayed with 2.75". They are selling "noise", with no concerns at all for proper system tuning or performance. Proof of the "backyard engineering" is in the number of drone complaints. A very poor choice in my opinion.

I couldn't count the number of posts I have seen from people installing Zoomers and then immediately selling them due to either poor performance or the dreaded drone. Supposedly Zoomers was going to come out with a redesigned system to reduce the drone, but what about all the people that bought their original product? Even if the drone has been eliminated I wouldn't trust that the system would be properly balanced. Mopar/Corsa was designed with the help of the SRT engineers. IMO this is the ONLY way to go.

Properly balanced? Pipe size is important but you'd have to be an idiot to make this system unbalanced. I assume your taking about equal length tubes on both sides. I think you'll agree there is only one path to run the pipes and they are equal length on both sides. 3" pipe works well on our system and it is dyno tested 20hp & 20ft tq. 3" Pipe also allows you to make mods down the road like superchargers. If you’re pushing 500+ hp you'll need all of the 3"... As for a quieter system for the LX cars there are no plans to change anything on our best selling systems. If SRT engineers can get the brakes to stop squeaking and the sunroofs to stop rattling and the hesitation from 1st to 2nd gear fixed then I'll give your claim some merit.

I see your point, but SRT has addressed all of these issues, but your pipes still have drone, and your answer is "As for a quieter system for the LX cars there are no plans to change anything on our best selling systems". You probably should not have used this as an example.

We all know exhaust sound is a subjective thing and what is drone to some is not to others. Now rattling, squeaking and hesitation are not subjective and are a problem which I'm glad to hear were fixed.

All the other aftermarket exhaust Co. make there pipe size 3". Except Corsa. In order for Mopar to approve the Corsa to be the Mopar exhaust. DCX wanted to stay with the 2.75" pipe size. Corsa was the only one who made the 2.75" pipes and also kept the exhaust quiet enough for Mopars taste.
Not so. The OEM on the SRT8 is 2.5". The midpipes from the cats are 2.75" then it necks down to 2.5" the rest of the way.
