Exclamation SLP Loudmouth Exhaust!!! The Greatest!!! Let's make it happen for our SRT"s!!!

THIS IS THE MOST MUSCULAR, GARBLE-GARBLE, BLOW YOUR SISSY-A$$ AWAY, JAW DROPPING, ROARING LOUD EXHAUST YET!!!

I have spent hours upon hours searching for the right exhaust for my SRT and i have found the exhaust that many of us have been looking for. My verdict for most muscular throaty catbacks....JBA, Zoomers, Magnaflow, and whoever else....too quiet. My favortie by far is by SLP and it's called the "SLP Loudmouth I" modular. There's also an "SLP Loudmouth II" modular. Now let me tell you........i was looking for a throaty, muscular, garble-garble, screaming kinda loudness like these HUGE 6.1's deserve to sound like and this is definitely the exhaust for that.

Problem is........

Is hasn't been produced for the SRT's.

Maybe if i can make it more known how us SRT owners want a piece of the loudest and most thunderous exhaust out there, then they will atleast put the plans on the drawing board to get the exhaust made. FREEBIRDSRT himself told me that he got tired of waiting for SLP to make a SRT exhaust for him to use on his Magnum. He went and settled with JBA(next loudest/muscular). Well i'm tired of waiting too so maybe I can help stir things up.

As fas as SLP i've heard a lot of good things about them, mostly from GM's, mustangs, corvettes, musclecars etc and damn do those things sound awesome.

OK TO HEAR THE 5.7 AND HOW AWESOME IT SOUNDS I'LL MAKE IT EASY TO FIND. SIMPLY GO TO WWW.YOUTUBE.COM AND SEARCH FOR "SLP CHARGER"
THERE WILL BE A COUPLE CLIPS OF A YELLOW CHARGER. LISTEN PARTICULARLY TO THE "LOUDMOUTH" NOT THE "LOUDMOUTH II". FREAKIN AMAZING!!!

ALSO JUST LISTEN TO SOME OF THE OTHER CARS ON THE SITE WITH SLP. GEEZ TALK ABOUT TESTOSTERONE IN THE FORM OF GAS!

IF YOU'RE INTERESTED IN SEEING THIS EXHAUST MADE FOR OUR SRT'S OR IF YOU JUST WANNA HELP THEN CALL SLP PERFORMANCE PARTS AT
(732)349-2109 TO BUG THE LIVING HELL OUTTA THEM(BE POLITE) FOR THE SAKE OF OUR SRT'S AND VISIT THEIR WEBSITE AT WWW.SLPONLINE.COM. CHECK OUT THE EXHAUST.......HIGH QUALITY KIT WITH LIFETIME WARRANTY AND IT'S REASONABLY PRICED.

JUST IMAGINE HOW THE SRT WOULD SOUND WITH THIS EXHAUST SEEING AS HOW GOOD IT DOES ON THE 5.7 HEMI. I'M NOT HERE TO PROMOTE OR GET A FANBASE FOR SLP......I SIMPLY WANT TO SEE A CATBACK MADE FOR MY SRT.....CALL ME SELFISH....BUT I BET ATLEAST SOME OF YOU WILL WANT THIS CATBACK TOO!

CALL THEM...CALL THEM...CALL THEM AND TELL THEM..."MY SRT WANTS A LOUDMOUTH!!!"

Wow, just checked out the video. That exhaust may be fine for the Charger and possibly the Magnum for their more aggressive appearance, but there's no way I'd ever consider it on a 300C 5.7 or even an SRT8. Unfortunately someone will do it though. I've got a Flowmaster dual catback on my truck, so I know what loud is. Some cars like Mustangs would sound good, but please reconsider this. I can't remember what system FreebirdSRT has, but if I was to do a catback, it'd be that one.

Please keep us informed Tom. You know I have been waiting for SLP to do for the SRT's what they did for the 5.7. Firemedic and I both love the SLP products. Ever since you posted the thread on the SLP 5.7 products, I have been salivating for 6.1 SLP products.

Rambit:
300 = Kooks long tubes, Kooks catted pipes, Zoomers cat-back

Mag = JBA cat back.

mmmmmm....JBA cat-back. I love mine. I think I'll go hit the remote start right now just to hear her. I'm not familiar with SLP products, but I'm all for more options when it comes to the SRT8 line. We seem to have so few compared to other high-performance vehicles.

That is the most frustrating thing about being a modern Hemi Mopar owner. DCX has the computer so locked down. With no room for aftermarket go fast improvements. Making it very hard for there enthusiast base of customers to get any more out of what we have been given, OEM (stock). I added long tube headers, high flow cats and a cat back on the 300SRT when I got her a year ago. I was hoping a program would be available so changes could be made for the new parts installed. With no real prospects of that happening for us. I am only adding a Hammer CAI and a cat back (JBA, I love it) to the Magnum SRT, more for the aggresive sound that a V8 should have. I probably lost 5hp by going to a 3" pipe instead of the stock 2.75" pipe size. The computer is calibrated for the 2.75" and since we can't make the changes, I am very happy with a 420 hp motor. Just wish I could be ALLOWED to do more about that myself. Not what big brother tells me I can.

The reason Mustangs, Camaro's, T/A, Impala SS (94-96 only), etc are so popular with the public. Is those manufacturers make there computer systems easy to get into (by Superchips, Hypertech, Diablo) and the ability for there customers to bolt on go-fast goodies (like Superchargers) without blowing up motors. Turbo's can be slapped on for instant power. We are going into the 3rd year of HemiC and SRT production and the biggest players in the game Kenny Belle (Superchargers and he won't even go near the HEMI), Hypertech, Superchips, Diablo, Big motor punch outs (392, 426) from power ported, heat, hennessey etc. Are having the hardest time and spending big bucks and long hours just to get the HEMI to try and come alive more than what we were given, from the factory. Just my .02

SLP is mostly in the GM game and Ford as well. Back when the F-body's (Camaro, Trans-Am) were around. You could go to a Chevy dealer and order a Z28 SLP version. Then SLP would get a Z28 and build/install all that you ordered, then the car would be delivered to the dealer you ordered from. You go pick up you SLP beast. Plus you could still add more aftermarket parts and tweak your ride to how much hp or how fast you wanted it to go.

If I do get a Super Bee Charger, I am really going to turn up the heat on SLP. That audio clip of the 5.7 SLP loudmouth is Da Bomb, music to my ears.

Makes that RT come alive. Can only make the SRT sound even better/meaner like an American V8 should.

That sound is definitely killer Mark and I think you should be driving a vehicle that has such a killer sound. So they need to realize there is a market out there of able bodies willing to pay $$ for such product! Especially if that buzzing sound gets louder you’ll want to amplify the BUZZZZZZZZZZZ!

Yo

I wonder if purchasing the mufflers from SLP would make a difference?
