Of course a Magnaflow employee will encourage ditching the brace!! Because they made an exhaust that doesn't clear it!!!

Truthfully, I wouldn't have any problem ditching the brace, because it really doesn't look like it does much. But I left mine on because I can. The Corsa clears the brace, so no reason for me to remove it.

One is the obvious, the black bracket right below you X pipe (cross member). Since the pipes on the magnaflow are 3inches not 2.50(factory) there is less room for two 3inch pipes rathers than two 2.50 inchers. So on my car of of the pipes sits or hits that black cross member bar. Can the exhaust be pushed up a little higher closer to the crank shaft.....I dont know. All you need is a piece of material able to withstand the heat of the exhaust. Like the stuff sun deflectors are made of. Something to stop the meatal to metal vibration without melting.

The second spot was the trunk spot right behind the gas tank & axle. It seems like the pipe was not bent 100% accurately and hits the underbody part of the trunk. maybe ask Magnaflow for a new piece of pipe for just that spot or put something between the underbody & the pipe. I wouldnt try rebending the pipe or banging the underbody.

But those are the only 2 vibration spots I know of. Let me know if you come across any fixs or more spots.
The trunk vibration point is the exact same problem I had, described earlier in the thread. I took a brake spoon and inserted it between the pipe and trunk pan, then bent the trunk pan slightly to increase the gap. Maybe not ideal solution, but it worked and was quick and free. I never had any problem with the cross brace.
