Angry Corsa - Bad Vibrations

Okay, what was just "a little" annoying a couple of days ago is now irritating as hell. My Corsa cat-back exhaust has this weird vibration from the rear somewhere @ low RPM's. Seems to happen more often now and seems to get worse when the system is fully heated up. Has anyone had this issue and if so, any resolve to this problem? The dealer is going to look into it, but they are as clueless as me. They did tell me that this is the first time they have seen this - go figure. But they are working with me, which is great.

Sorry to read of your Corsa vibration problem. Here are a few threads that mention something similar and what they did to stop it. Don’t know if it will help in your case or not, but good luck and let us know what your dealership does for you.

Corsa service is unreal!

Sorry to hear that!
I have no problems with mine but your pipes are a little bigger in diameter i think (2 3/4 or 3") so make sure you are not touching your cross member.
Usually bad vibrations are caused because there is a clearance problem!
So make sure you are not touching any metal or suspension underneath!
Good luck
Gary

Mine got buzzy at idle after about 1000 miles. I took it back, they tightened up all the clamps and it went away never to return. The resonators are very close to the body in the back-you should check those clearances as well. YMMV.

My Corsa's been on for almost a year and never a sound. I agree with the above about the clamps. Almost the only thing it could be, since the Corsa clears the tunnel brace. Tighten the clamps.

My Magnaflow did the same thing, worsening as it got hotter. It would also do it in "D" sitting still with the brake on. The problem was contact on the left pipe with the trunk pan. I ended up bending the trunk pan away from the pipe slightly using a brake spoon. Probably not the ideal solution, but it was immediate and cheap.
