I got flashed

Unfortunately I didn't get flashed by Jessica Alba, but this was a close 2nd!
I had taken it in a few weeks ago but the StarScan couldn't connect to the net to receive the updates. Luckily, everything was working yesterday.
First was the TCM, which he had apparently already downloaded to the device. Then he noticed there was an ECU update also on the device so he did that as well. After that he decided to connect to the see if anything else was available. There was yet another ECU update. That went fine as well.

The TCM update is everything I hoped for. Now I can actually use the manual mode when I need it and not worry about embarrassing or killing myself. For example, previously, I would never use manual mode when I needed to pass because I was afraid I would miss the shift and end up with no power as a semi-truck is approaching. That would be bad. Know what I mean? Exactly!

Anway, what do these ECU updates do? I've read all about the TCM update, but never seen anything regarding the ECU flashes. Maybe I'm not reading enough. The tech didn't have any info on them either.

Did you get a sticker that said i got flashed today? I didn't get one on the maggie.
