You gain 32 hp at the rear wheels with the head upgrade. The B and G flash can add additional hp also, up tp 30 hp. It seams like the PCM flash and the upgraded heads would give more hp gain the 32 hp. Am I missing something?

I think you are over-estimating the B&G numbers. With my P&P I was at 438 rwhp, but that was WITH the magnaflow and WITHOUT a CAI. I got the B&G about 6 months later and although there is definitely a performance gain, I thing the hp gain would not be that much (just my .02). I never dynoed again even after adding the GSM CAI and the B&G (dumb!). I think the previous posts about the stock catback being restrictive in this situation makes a lot of sense.

Doyle when you did the 438 rwhp dyno run, what mods did you have on the car?

Just about a year ago to date. At that time I had the GSM torque mod, Kooks LTH, Magnaflows, and just had the P&P from GSM. For what it's worth, they also did the dyno. Initially I was attracted to the dyno numbers, but after I saw how much these numbers vary from person to person, even with the same mods, you start to wonder. Someone that GSM worked on, shortly after myself, dynoed much higher.

That's the problem with dyno numbers. They are good to use as a tuning tool on but it's hard to compare to other dynos because they can vary.

Exactly. Thats why I thought your numbers looked good, because they are definitely in the "ballpark". It will be really interesting to see if in fact the stock catbacks are restrictive in this situation. Good luck.

I want to keep this car quiet so the stock exhaust will be staying on. I'll give up some hp to not have to listen to it

Do you still have the dyno sheets?
