B&G Flash

Has anyone put their car on a dyno after having the B&G flash? If so, what gains did you see? How did the A/F look? I am heavily considering getting the flash done, but I am always cautious when doing a mod such as this early in the game. A year ago, everyone was all over teh GSM supercharger and that turned out to be a bomb waiting to explode. I believe that the B&G flash is a safe and very effective mod, but I want to see what others think. I currently have the mopar cai, magnaflow high flow cats, and corsa cat back on my car an dplan to add the B&G flash real soon and then the indy heads and intake next fall. I think this combo will make for a very reliable, very powerful car.

Sorry Mark for lack of specifics. I personally didn't do a before and after dyno, but from what I recall from others, the hp/ torque gains were not significant and varied. The improvement was with the A/F ratios. Again, from memory: with the P&P, LTH and Catbacks there was some indication that the cars were running towards the lean side, but not dangerously so. The B&G put the ratios in "safer territory". Again, I know this is a non-specific answer. I believe the dynos were found on the LX forum around the time that the B&G was first making noise. For what it's worth, it's a great mod.

The B&G probably won't add alot of hp/tq if any, but it will help you under the curve, raise your rev limiter, modify shift points and your idle. It is the best thing out right now short of a tune.

From another thread Mike discusses his impressions with the B & G flash here.

ECU Tunning

If you really want the straight story about it give Jeremy a call and discuss it with him. He was a regular member who actually owned two SRT8’s back in the day when they were rare, rare, rare! He now is a site sponsor who doesn’t BS around. Heck of a nice dude. Check him out. You can see what others have to say.
