Been there done that and have the fridge magnet to prove it! The only car to hit low 12's, and maybe 11.99 with minimal amount of mods??you say???

I have a completely stock car down to the mufflers and RSA half bald tires when I ran a best of 12.46 with a 100 shot.

Run a 150 shot with stock F1's and you are going up in smoke. Run 150 shot with DR's and you have a good possibility of breaking the half shalfts...i.e. NEEDFORSPEED. He did it on two separate occasions.

Here is another hearbreaker for reaching your goal.

Hal (HalV48) had a larger cam, headers, GSM TM, cat back, DR's and 100 shot with racing fuel. Best he ran is somewhere around 12.20. And he is a damn good driver! He's got more mods now and is still knocking on the 11 second door.

Then you have Bo, (Bo'SRT) running headers, heads, cat back, DR's, and some other goodies with 100 shot. DA was very good and he posted the best of 11.99.

I could go on, but you get the idea. You are not the first to go that route...that's for sure.

Before with what Moose said. Still was a baby cam, but a torque monster
12.15 best
122.003 best
1.76 60'

Now bigger cam, PPP P&P heads and intake, 3000 stall APS Challenger converter, and Quaife LSD.

1.73 60' breaking before the end of the 60.

Broke 2 halfshaft's on my last 2 launches

I could do the 2nd gear spray or a Maximizer, but hey, I'm ball's out, or don't bother.

I have no idea what will happen with everything working on the same run. Should have 1000HP halfshafts in 2 or 3 weeks.

Will it improve anything at the track? I know the Fan mod with the T-stat helps keep it cool but im more worried about reducing TM so any input would be great Thanks.....
I am sort of in the same boat as you. I am between getting the GSM tq/fan mod and phoenelic spacer, or hi-flow cats. I am thinking the fan mod with the tq management may go nicely with my Jet chip and overall it should perform similar to a car with a stage 2 flash. I just can't convince myself that no tq managment could make much, if any difference over completely dissableing it by holding the button down. Also, using the $0.25 cent mod is just so easy and cheap....decisions, decisions.

I have had it for about a year. I got rid of the fan mod, it came on twice by itself at night and killed my battery.. The trq mod is ok if you just want to smoke your tires and get a constant check engine light.. I think it is a waste of money.. There are better mods.. One I would recommend is the Jet Stage 2chip. I had mine out of the car for the winter and just reinstalled it. Night and day, it feels like a different car.. Really like it.. You can pick them up for around the same price as the GSM mod..

Thanks Guys for your opinions...I think i will not mess with the cutting that wire for disabling the ESP....I also think that the guys running those times are in areas the the DA is more then here and Temps..NO.....I figure that if i can turn a 12.8 with a couple more bolt ons a 125 shot should get me to run at least a 12.0 hitting it in 2nd gear or the end of 1st...Im hoping, i can be wrong...But i have used nitrous on alot of cars and i know the verdict of spraying and what type of times i gained from those cars I know these are heavy and are shaped like Brick...LOL but hey ill give Try...Plus i think my car is faster then the average Magnum SRT ...My 1st time out with just resonators deleted and a crappy K&N CAI which im changing i ran a 13.0 @ 108 mph and that was a 2.0 60ft i never touched the tire pressure and i dont even have a cooler t-stat yet either.Well it can be wishful thinking but ill try....to reach my goal.... Thanks Guys...
