Well, I have 0 experience. But I can say that Rev. Hammer did put out an extremely impressive thread on it and it was followed up by a lot of extremly happy customers. It def. sold me. I'll be picking one up very soon, now that I have to wait on the turbo.

Not to discourage anyone from buying, but it seems to me that Rev. Hammer's product is funtionally virtually identical to AFE Stage II, just a hell of a lot prettier (mirrored metal versus plastic)...I'm not sure I'd pay $150 more for cosmetics...although his profit margin is sure to be a lot smaller than AFE's, so it's not like he'd be screwing you. Mom'n'pop just naturally costs more.

I would think that an intake made from steel would retain alot more heat than a plastic one in the engine bay, thus making hotter air go into the engine. Thats why I personally went with the AFE, unlike others I don't think it looks bad at all.

Airhammer is a really nice intake. Looks a little too "aftermarket" for me and besides.....i already had an AFE before the airhammer was released. The biggest reason i didn't bite was the hugr price difference. $450.....wow! I've never seen an intake in my life that costs that much even brand new.

Besides that AFE just released the new "Pro Dry S" oil free filter!
