471 RWHP with new heads and cam - thanks HHP

picked up my car today from high horse performance down in delaware and must say it was a great drive back to philly. what can i say, there is a huge difference, it pulls like a bat out of hell now, hard to keep the tires from spinning. they will spin completely thru first and into second if you are going sideways a bit or uphill. if you get traction they will break loose again in the power band in first and sometimes in second. i am gonna have to try and be careful with her.

they did ported heads and intake along with a custom cam and threw on some headers and a torque converter for good measure.

i gotta say i was a little leery of this torque converter thing (never had one) but its very drivable and doesnt have the soft or slippery feeling i was anticipating, in fact i didnt really notice it at low speeds or even too much in stop and go just in the parking lot. its a pro torque 2800.

overall review- i give it 5 dancing chile peppers and two smiley guys doing a cheers with their beers. josh and jason are great guys running a top shelf operation with super service. they turned my beast into a real monster!

see you at the track! - john

Wow..Will.those are some pretty fine stock numbers for John !!! The million dollar question becomes...What will you be doing for traction ?? And what risk will you be putting on those Damn half-shafts ?? I am certain I am going to need stronger ones as are most of you if we keep increasing the HP load and add traction to the mix. John ...try stock tires first and see if raw HP can overcome traction loss .

thanks guys, i definely dont know the cam specs sorry, and my car took a little over a week but that was because it was the first and they kept it for extra testing and tuning. seems like the install took 2 days though.

i will see you guys out at E town on the 24th. i will be on street tires then but plan on sticking some DRs out back in the future, i say give them halfshafts hell!!
