Magnaflow & Corsa sounds Fukin SICK!

Alright. I got the Corsa Catback and the Magnaflow Highflow cats put on today. My bro came over and it took us about 30-45 minutes to install (already had the stock system off.)

First impression. It was still up on stands. Cranked it up an DAMN it was freakin loud. Cold start up idling about 1300rpm and being about 3 feet off the ground to the tips. I was like damn...

It settled down and let it idle for a few minutes let things heat up for a second. Got back under and finished the initial tightening. Lowered off the stands and went for a drive. First thing i noticed was it was super quiet.. esp compared to the 11db Blastin Bob Reso Delete. Pull out onto the highway and do some normal acceleration. Just a whisper of exhaust note (radio off). Do a 20mph roll and for f**k sake.. it sounded like sex baby! got to about 90 and punched it and looked down and was at 140 faster than i remember her getting there before.. maybe i was just enjoying the sound too much.

Went and ate a bite and did some more city stop/go driving. I'm in love. Nice and quiet till you punch it then it sounds off. Exactly what i've been looking for, Nice and quiet when driving normal and Fn loud and nasty at WOT. I'll have vids/pics up later tomorrow after i wash her.

Thanks for the input when i inquired guys!!

Justin

I have the exact same set up and the sound is just great! I really love the WOT sound, but really enjoy the lack of drone.

So does this mean you’re pleased with the sound Justin? It’s kind of hard to tell since you’re not very enthusiastic……. Yeah right! Congratulations. We’ve been waiting to hear your report on this install and it sounds like it is giving you more than what you expected…which is always a plus. Now you’re in for less mpg as you do WOT’s all the time in order to hear that sound. Enjoy!

I'm thinking of having my new Corsa Exhaust installed this week as well. I hope it would be a success. But, I don’t exactly know how it sounds when it’s good or sick. Anyways, congratulations with that of yours. Job well done.

Go for it Jackie! You won't regret the choice unless you like drone a lot of noise under normal driving!
