flowmaster

hey guys, im thinking about cutting off my mufflers and getting some flowmater mufflers. have any of you done this before? if so what muffler series do you recommend/ or do you think i should go with a different muffler. and if so, what muffler? I heard that CherryBomb makes exhaust for the 6.1. is this true and is it any good.?

there are lots of chrysler mufflers to choose from. it would really depend on which kind you wanna install. lots of good feedbacks about flowmaster. A friend of mine also have one installed to his car, sounds great. anyways, just update us on your choice.

the beauty of a cut flow master system is the price - and they sound awesome (well i've never heard it on a 6.1 but i loved it on my 6.0 GTO) - You can get flow master super 40s with an X pipe install for probably 250-350$ installed (assuming you are okay with choipping up the factory exhaust)

I am not sure if there will be much performance gain, other than the grin on your face. I would think the restriction and thusly the performance gain would come from replacing the cats or removing them? I am speculating though because I just don't know enough about the exhaust on the SRT8 to speak authoratatively.

I have flowmaster cat back. The mufflers they use is Super 40 series. These mufflers are hard core.
