Many of the senior execs at Chrysler and the SRT engineers are well aware of these forums and our opinions. Opening up the codes to mods costs them almost nothing to do and will generate tons of sales for Mopar.

What will really grab their attention are the upcoming 500+ Mustangs and Camaros. I'm optimistic that Mopar will be going into another Golden Age of Muscle very soon.

Gotta be honest, I've said it before and I'll say it again: the fact that we cannot tune these cars has pushed me back to the Ford side of the fence. I was looking at the Challenger, but I'm sure it'll be locked down as well. Oh well, Shelby Cobra here I come.

I am leaning the way of CplDaugherty too. Once the Shelby is out another year they should become more affordable as well. I will give this tuning effort a year but after that I will jump back to Ford if they don't have anything. I am hoping what I am hearing comes true!

Because it's the ugliest car I've ever seen. plus I've never been a big Chevy fan.

The options for my 03 Cobra are incredible. I can take the factory 390 and make it 500RWHP for about $1800.

Not totally. SC was the first handheld out and they told everyone that it would tune the SRT-8. We then found that it wouldn't and in the end, they didn't come out with one. Diablosport is aware of this and they say they will be tuning the 6.1. Hopefully that holds true!

Mustangs have tons of parts available! A pulley change and tuning work wonders! The Challenger will be the new performance car on the market. That will probably open more doors for 6.1 performance parts.
