DiabloSport Predator Programmer 5.7/6.1

I've been reading alot of different release dates for the upcoming Predator programmer so I got the scoop today. Diablosport would like to have this available by the end of July/beginning of August. They are working on tuning "LX" vehicles now.

Besides the standard program that comes with the tuner, parameters that can usually be modified by the user are -

WOT Spark Advance Table (+/- 10%)
WOT Fuel Table 2000 to 4000 RPM (+/- 15%)
WOT Fuel Table 4000 to redline (+/- 15%)
Idle RPM (+/- 20%)
Global Mass Air Table (+/- 30%)
Rear Oxygen Sensor Configuration
MIL switch (check engine light)
Exhaust Temperature Controls
Speed Limiter - disable or enable
Rev Limiter
Electric Fan Temprature Controls
Shift Timing - MPH and Engine RPM
Global Spark Adder (+/- 10 degrees of timing)
Re-Calibrate Speedometer for gear and tire size changes
Traction Control

These parameters should carry over to the Hemi tuner. I expect this to be priced the same as the other Predators. They are $399.99. We also include free overnight shipping.

It's a little to early to start taking pre-orders right now. I don't want people to have a long wait if the release date gets pushed out. Diablosport thinks they can get them out in time through. We've had some customers ask us to keep their info on file and contact them as the release gets closer so we're going to give everyone that option. Just send an e-mail to tbyrne@tbyrne.com and put Hemi Predator in the subject. We'll contact you when the time gets close and see if you would still like to order one of these. We already have a pre-order in so there will be a bunch of them coming in after the release.

I notice you mentioned fan control and shift RPM. Does this mean I should wait, and not do the Coolit fan mod or TCM upgrade?

Sounds like just what I want, and not near the $800 or so for the BG

And BigSnake - you're right. And if they ever have a programmer, I'll be in the first group buy. I just get tired of being strung along. If the product doesn't even EXIST yet, it won't be for sale for 6 months - if EVER.

These threads are like crying "the sky is falling" only in reverse. Does anyone really believe a product will start shipping 5 weeks from now, when they haven't even developed a tune yet? If they could really do everything TByrne suggests, they'd already have done it, some of us would be the obvious beta testers, etc.
